Financial Aid for Summer 2008 In order to request aid for the summer, Stony Brook must have received your FAFSA (school code 002838) and you must be registered for at least six credits. We will start the review of summer applications in May. Stony Brook University offers the following financial aid programs in the Summer:
Request for Summer Aid Payment Policies and Procedures: Summer session students are required to pay for their summer classes seven (7) days after registering. You may pay by using the SOLAR System (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express), in person at the Student Accounts Office (cash, check, or credit card), or by mail. In order to have a deferment applied to your account based on your anticipated summer Stafford loans, you must have followed the application process and received final approval from HESC. If full payment for all charges is made, you will be reimbursed when your financial aid funds have been received and credited to your student account. If you are interested in the summer Time Option Payment Plan (TOPP), contact the Office of Student Accounts at (631) 632-2455. [ Stony Brook
